This recipe is meant to be simple, an easy, on-the-go snack you can make your own. Today I used leftover figs and strawberries from my friend’s garden. Take this as a guideline and create your own version! For inspiration, check out the diagram below to help with your choices.
Ingredients:
1 cup of yogurt of your choice
Dairy options: Whole milk, 2% milk, or Greek yogurt
Vegan options: Cashew yogurt, coconut yogurt (like So Delicious Coconut Vanilla or Trader Joe’s Cashew Yogurt)
1 scoop of Healthy HeartBeets!
1/8 cup of honey or agave syrup
(use agave or maple syrup for a vegan version)
Your favorite fruit toppings
I used leftover figs and strawberries for mine.
Optional Add-Ins:
For some crunch, try adding mixed nuts, granola, or seeds like pumpkin and sunflower.
To finish, drizzle with honey or agave, or go sweet and fancy with a cherry and a bit of coconut whipped cream.Frozen mangoes or blueberries also make a perfect garnish!
Instructions:
Mix your sweetener with the yogurt until smooth, then stir in Healthy HeartBeets.
For a crunchier texture, skip the chia soaking step.
For a softer, pudding-like texture, let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes before adding your remaining ingredients.
